Nothing But Love is a blog which shares all of the wonderful things I’ve come to know about India.

My name is Amy and I live as an expat in India. My husband was born and raised in Kolkata and we have lived all over India but are now settled in Jaipur. When I first came to India, I wanted nothing more than to make it my home and I loved my new place in the world. However, I found that India didn’t really love me back… health issues from the conditions, visa and residency struggles, cultural divides all made it feel like I would never be able to be a part of this society. But the people I came to know showed me love and compassion and encouraged me on my journey. Today, I can confidently say that, although India is not without flaws, I feel NOTHING BUT LOVE for my home!

My posts will be honest and share truthful experiences but we will always find the silver linings and positive outcomes to any adversity. I hope to give new perspective to anyone who may be interested but a little uncertain about what life is like here. There is a reason this place is referred to as “Incredible India” and I hope you catch a glimpse of it here!
